About TaJonda Bradley

TaJonda Bradley is a Registered Nurse in the state of Florida, who has always had a natural gift of uplifting others especially when in their most vulnerable time of need. She completely understands the demands of trying to juggle motherhood, a career, relationships, a balanced home, all while showing up as the best version of herself.

She is originally from Panama City, Florida and was the first to attend college in her family. Now, she resides in Jacksonville FL, and is a graduate from the University of North Florida where she received her Bachelor’s degree in Biology with a minor in Public Health, followed by a BSN in Nursing, & MBA in 2024 from Southern New Hampshire University. She holds special education through Postpartum Support International’s Perinatal Mood Disorders: Components of Care training. She is also an active board member of two non-profit organizations; MATER which focuses on supporting and providing resources to expecting parents and families of NE FL who are struggling with the emotional & mental transition to parenthood, and SERVING FOR HOPE which focuses on the eradication of Hodgkin’s Lymphoma and other blood cancers. TaJonda is a North East Region Alliance co-chair for PSI’s Mental Health Alliance for People of Color (PMHA-POC). She was also named a top 3 finalist for the Image Award in 2024, which gives recognition to the significant positive impact she has consistently made within the community.

Her nursing background of 12 years includes med-surg-tele, Inpatient Clinical Research , Home Health, & Hospice care. Now she has dedicated her entire career to her passion of working with postpartum families.  At the end of 2019, she went on a journey to start MommyTu Postpartum +Beyond, and become Jacksonville’s first ever POSTPARTUM COMMUNITY ADVOCATE.

“The postpartum journey can be such a life changing experience for mom and her family. No postpartum journey should ever be done alone, and yet it happens all of the time. No support, not knowing where resources are, not knowing how to care for a baby, and having feelings of being inadequate, broken, and alone. We gotta do better by our community.”
